Commission Process
The commission process begins with a written request with visual references.
A sketch will be completed and shown for approval based on the provided information. Once approved, it will move onto the next stage. Depending on the type of commission, I will work with you as much as I can to ensure the commission/ design is to your standard.How can I commission you?
You can reach me either by email ([email protected]), bluesky DMs, or through ko-fi. Wise and PayPal are only accepted as the payment method.Revisions
Revisions are offered during the sketch phase, and only small edits/ minor details, color corrections are acceptable during the final stages. Revisions cannot be made after the artwork is complete, and larger edits not addressed may incur additional fees.Rights/ Commercial Purposes
In general, you will retain the rights to the IP and are for personal and non-commercial use. Please note that the commission fee will be 150% the base price of the commission.Receiving the Commission
You will receive a download link for all necessary files. Note that source files (psd, csp, etc.) are also available but will incur an additional fee as well.What if I am not satisfied with the final result?
Refunds are not available if the artwork is 100% complete. Partial refunds may apply depending on the progress of the overall commission. If however I am unable to start your commission, or if you cancel the order before I start, you will receive a full refund.
Commission Info
Art styles, characters etc. will be limited to what I have previously done.Feel free to inquire, however do note that that I may turn down certain requests.Payment
- Preferred up-front- Partial payments with a 50% down payment is okay- Payment done through Paypal/ Wise- Tips are welcome, but not required- If paying through ko-fi, all payments are final.Refunds
- You are free to request a cancellation at any time, however partial refunds apply depending on the progress of the commission.
- Progress would be for example: Sketch 80% refund, Line Art 60% refund, Base colors 30% refund.
- Refunds are not available if I have completed 100% of the artwork. If I am unable to start your commission, you will also receive a full refund.
- If you cancel your order before I start drawing, you can also get a full refund.Deadline
- I will provide a rough time estimate during the process. If there are any delays or reschedules (whether it is other responsibilities, challenges IRL emergencies etc.), I will let you know before hand.- If it is an urgent deadline, I will do my best to accommodate the request.Process & Revisions
- Please provide me with any character visual references as well as standard verbal descriptions. I will interpret things as I see based on what is given.
- If there are other artworks of your characters done by other artists, that is also okay to send as a reference.
- I will send a couple rough sketches provided before continuing the detailed sketch. This will be approval more for direction/ style, and any changes, revisions, etc. can be done here as well if needed.
- After the sketch has been approved, WIPs of line art, flat colors etc. will be sent. Small edits for minor details, color correction, etc. can be done at this stage.
- However, larger edits not addressed during the sketch stage may incur additional fees.
- For ko-fi orders, all orders are final, so please try to be as specific as possible and keep large edits/ revision to a minimum!Delivery
- 300dpi JPG of your illustration
- PNG also included (only for colored illustrations)
- Source files optional, but will incur an additional cost.TOS
- I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at anytime for any reason.
- I retain all copyright over the commissioned artwork.
- I will NOT claim IP of the commissioned artwork.
- I reserve the right to post the commissioned work online and/ or on my portfolio.- You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website, social channels etc.
- You may NOT alter the commission work without my consent.
- You may NOT make a profit from the commissioned piece unless agreed upon.
- You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes unless agreed upon.
- You are NOT allowed use the artwork for block-chain, crypto or NFTs.
- You are NOT allowed to use the artwork in anyway for AI/ ML technology including AI generators.
